About Us
Our mission is to be Lansing’s flagship historical organization offering resources and services to citizens, visitors, and others interested in our City’s history. By preserving and interpreting the stories, images, and objects of our county’s past, the Historical Society of Greater Lansing helps residents and visitors understand the present and shape the future.
The Historical Society meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Forest Park Library and Archive, located in the basement of the Downtown Library.
